Crockpot 3 Bean Chili

My slow cooker chili go wrong?
I started to make some chili slow cooker yesterday, and at the last minute, we decided to go to a party on New Year's chili has been cooking for 8 hours .. she had cooked for about three and a half. I turned off slow cooker and let stand on counter for about 16ish hours. Chile includes: pieces of stew beef, ground beef, beans, spices, peppers, etc. I started cooking right when we got back this afternoon … can we still eat it, or there is too much bacteria to be at room temperature?
