Easy Slow Cooker Meals
One of the best ways to warm the winter is loaded with goodies slow cooker in the morning and cook all day. The slow cooker is a great way to have a home cooked meal of delicious after work or play all day.
Beef Fajitas Recipe Slow
1-1/2 lb. boneless sirloin, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons tablespoon lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1-1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 / 2 teaspoon chili powder
1 green pepper, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
6-8 flour tortillas
Cheddar grated
salsa
cream
lettuce
tomato
Brown steak in oil. Place steak and drippings into slow cooker. Add juice lemon, garlic, cumin, salt and chili powder, mix well. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-1/2 to 3 hours or until the meat is tender. Add green pepper and onion, cover and cook for 1 more hour. Warm tortillas. Spoon beef and vegetables in center of tortillas. Top each with cheese, salsa, sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes, if desired.
Crock Pot Pizza Casserole
Ground beef 1 1 / 2 lb.
1 can (14 oz) pizza sauce
1 package (12 oz) noodles
4 oz cheese, mozzarella
1 small can mushrooms
1 onion dice
1 can (14 ounces) spaghetti sauce
4 ounces cheddar cheese
1 package pepperoni
1 green pepper, diced
Do Brown meat and onion. Drain fat and add sauce. Cook the noodles.
Put layer of noodles, meat mixture, cheese & pepperoni In Crock Pot. Repeat layer. Cook on high for 30 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour until cheese is melted. Serves 6
Crock Pot Meatloaf Recipe
ground beef 2 1 / 4 pound
1 / 4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup cracker crumbs or crushed
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 large onion (diced)
1 / 4 cup water
Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Form-shaped meatloaf that fits your slow cooker. Cut a strip of paper aluminum and place under the meatloaf in the crock pot. Cut it long enough to cover bottom and sides of meatloaf. Place meatloaf in the crock and garnish with 2 tablespoons extra ketchup. Cover and cook on low heat for about 8 hours. Serve with fresh hot rolls.
All Day Recipe Slow Cooker Delight
2-3 lb. Boneless Chuck, cut into 1 “cubes
1 / 2 C Flour
1 / 4 C Butter
1 onion, sliced
1 tsp teaspoon salt
1 / 8 c. teaspoon pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
2 c Beer (I usually use Guinness Stout)
1 / 4 C Flour
Coat beef cubes with flour 1 / 2 cup. Brown in melted butter. Drain excess fat.
In slow cooker, mix meat with golden onion, salt, pepper, garlic and beer. Cover and cook on low 5-7 hours (all day) until the meat is tender. Turn control to high. Dissolve flour cup 1 / 4 in a small amount of water. Stir into meat mixture, cook High temperature 30-40 minutes. Serve with rice and salad.
Chicken and dumplings
4 boneless chicken breasts, skinless, cut into small pieces
2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 / 4 cup onion, diced
2 cups water
2 packages 10 oz chilled Cookie
1 chicken bouillon cube
Mix all ingredients except biscuits in the crock pot. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 6 hours. 30 minutes before serving, tear biscuit dough into 1 inch. Add to your slow cooker, stirring gently. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes or until the cookies are puffed and cooked through.
