Needing good crockpot recipes for one person?
I would love to see some of your best recipes crock pot for a single person with a small (1.5 qt) crockpot / slowcooker. Thank you!
A boneless breast of chicken without skin, 1 / 2 a can of chicken broth, 1 / 2 a box chopped tomatoes. Add a chopped carrot, half a celery stick as chopped onion, and as much (maybe 1 / 4) as you want. Salt and pepper to taste. View the contents of your stove and judge the level of liquid. You can add more if you think it might evaporate. Carrot, celery, onion and tomatoes make a wonderful aroma and flavor base. You can add a little dried thyme, sage … maybe a chopped chili habanero. The chopped vegetables should cook until a thick sauce. This chicken sauce goes well over rice or even rustic French bread.
