I need a healthy recipe slow cooker?
I searched online and I could not find good slow cooker recipes healthy. Does anyone have a recipe they would like to share with me? Please keep it simple. Thank you.
Spicy Turkey Chili This chili very rich and spicy, the one I think everyone will love! Serve with Cheddar cheese. INGREDIENTS: 2 (5 oz) turkey meat cans, drained 2 (15 oz) kidney beans 2 cans (14.5 oz) cans Italian-style stewed tomatoes 2 (1.25 ounces) chili powder 1 package (4 ounces) green chilies 1 (8 ounces) tomato sauce 1 onion, diced 1 cup water DIRECTIONS: In a slow cooker, combine turkey, beans, tomatoes, chili seasoning, peppers, tomato sauce, onion and water. Cook over low heat 3 to 4 hours. Serve hot. Baked Slow Cooker Chicken Chicken cooked in a slow cooker for busy people! Place chicken in the morning and cooked golden brown chicken for dinner. INGREDIENTS: 1 (2 to 3 pounds) whole chicken salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon Coffee paprika DIRECTIONS: Wad three pieces of aluminum foil into 3 to 4 inch balls and place in bottom of slow cooker. Rinse chicken, inside and outside, under cold water. Dry with paper towels. Season chicken with salt, pepper and paprika, and place in slow cooker on top of aluminum crumbled paper. Set slow cooker on high for 1 hour, then reduce to low for about 8 to 10 hours, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.
