Biscuits and gravy, slow cooker safe?
I have a cookie healthy recipe sauce. I was thinking of using my slow cooker for some sausage and gravy. But I am a man, so keep it simple. Here are my ideas so far: 1) Try to find a whole wheat biscuits easy if they exist. 2) Put an array of some form of sausage in the pot. 3) Make a cream sauce with mushrooms, cream cheese and pepper? All better ideas?
Cooking in a crock pot does not do it healthy. You could probably modify it with turkey sausage, low fat sodium cream / mushroom soup and cheese low fat or fat-free cream and reduced fat-free cookies. It is a fairly rapid flat to ensure that you would not even need a slow cooker.
