winning chili recipe?
I want to enter into a local chili contest but I need a winning recipe. I have a recipe that we like as a family but once you get all the crockpots in a row they all taste basically the same- beans, ground beef, and tomato. I know my way around the kitchen better than most but I need a recipe or ingredient (preferably recipe) that will give me the edge.
I can’t offer anything but my thanks and 10 points!!! 
Add a cup of tequila to the chili and instead of heat, rely on flavor. Use some smoked chipotle chilis. Lots of flavor in those. Everybody tries to make the hottest chili. It gets so hot, you can’t taste it.
