Using chicken in a crock pot recipe?
I havce a recipe for chicken in a mushroom sauce that I make in my slow cooker for dinner tomorrow, but I do not want to mess up the recipe if I can avoid it. It calls for 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves. Whatever I have skinned chicken thighs. That does not make a difference in cooking time, is it? More importantly, what can I put the frozen chicken, thawed? Neither the receipt nor the cookbook I got from (a slow cooker cookbook) state. The cooking time is 7-9 hours the recipe low heat, covered. Anyone have any experience in this department?
