Slow Cooker Chicken w / BBQ sauce?
I found several recipes that say to frozen feet / thighs in the crock pot and cover w / BBQ sauce and cook for 5 hours (I guess the bottom). Sounds good and easy (just what I want), but I know BBQ sauce tends to burn the Cooking too long. I'll be gone for about five hours. during cooking, will not be able to verify. To anyone who has BBQ sauce in a slow cooker like that? Does it burn?
I add alittle extra water to dilute the sauce. I've never been burned.
