Why slow cookers cook hot today and older?
I bought my first crock pot last year, his a West Bend 6 qt. I quickly realized that the cooking of its contents very fast. I could make a roast and fill very near the top with the liquid and 3.5 to 4 hours, the liquid is almost gone. I tried other recipes and had the same thing happen. I did a search Internet and learned that others are experiencing the same problem, even with other brands such as Rival.
