Should I cook kielbasa before putting it in the crock pot?
I kielbasa and sauerkraut in my crockpot. (My first recipe in it is again!) Of all the recipes I looked and also in that I do, they do not tell the cook kielbasa. He cooked for hours and hours, then I say not. DH said yes. Do you cook the meat before throwing them in a crock pot for 8 hours? Either the recipes I make this week (small chicken, meat stew) require cooking to prepare? Thank you! Kielbasa is already cooked. For a little more flavor, you can grill it in pan before throwing it in the crock pot, but you do not have to. The slow cooker will cook other meats like chicken that you do not need pre-cooking the two is "DH"?
